About OAR

Offender Aid and Restoration of Arlington County, Inc. (OAR) was established in 1974 by a local group of women from Arlington, Virginia, who volunteered in the jails and saw a need for ongoing support of prisoners and ex-offenders who remained largely ignored and forgotten by society. Thanks to you, OAR continues to serve the county of Arlington and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church.

OAR works with:

  • Individuals who have been incarcerated in the Arlington or Alexandria detention facilities;
  • Individuals who have been incarcerated anywhere in the country and are returning to live in Arlington, the City of Alexandria, or the City of Falls Church; and
  • Individuals who are mandated by the Arlington or Falls Church courts to complete community service hours.

SPACE IS LIMITED! If interested in attending, please RSVP to Jeremy.McClayton.IAF@gmail.com
